Mark Bower – Loan Officer
Mark came to Waco for Baylor in 2001 after a long line of family attended the University. He graduated with a BA degree and married is wife, Catherine Ballas Bower.
Mark has been a entrepreneur in his career experience, with businesses ranging from a front page of Google web store, co-designing one of Waco’s most successful retail boutiques, all the way to a US patented gift card system. Mark was brought on by Holden to drive Oak Mortgage Group’s conversion from Broker to a fully-delegated Mortgage Bank. Mark enjoyed the business so much that he stayed on and became a loan originator after full delegation was achieved, as well as led a rebranding effort for Oak Mortgage Group’s new name and logo.
When asked why he remained at Oak he stated; “Team and Vision. Holden is one of my best friends and I am surrounded my men and women who want to be the best at what they do. I have done my best work in teams, mitigating weaknesses and sharpening strengths. Holden is a true visionary and innovator in an industry where lots of people are getting out of the business, he is driving to the top. I have a passion for service and feel like I can really help people in a very key time in life.”
