Merrick Pickens – PR & Marketing
Merrick Pickens, Director of Public Relations, graduated Cum Laude from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, emphasis in Entertainment Studies from the Mike Curb College of Music Business.
Merrick Pickens began her career first in the music industry in A&R/Artist Development but soon discovered her fierce desire for “Radical Innovation,” which Merrick defines as “the result of fusing artistic collaboration with human benevolence.”
When she came on staff at Oak Mortgage Group, she was determined to use her love for the arts and philanthropy to tell the story of Oak Mortgage Group to the public in a unique and creative way. Merrick has used social media tools like the Oak Mortgage Group Facebook Fan Page and Twitter, to highlight the creative culture of the company, where innovation and new ideas thrive daily inside and outside the four walls of Oak Mortgage Group.
Additionally, Merrick has founded the Crown Ginia Collections (Jewelry & Art Collections) and Eisodos Xchange (The Artist Network).
